The tour starts from Manali and ends at Leh with a visit high mountain passes, lakes and Monasteries. About Motorbike ROYAL ENFIELD:-
Royal Enfield was the name under which the Enfield Cycle Company made motorcycles, bicycles, lawnmowers and stationary engines. This legacy of weapons manufacture is reflected in the logo, a cannon, and their motto “Made like a gun, goes like a bullet”. Use of the brand name Royal Enfield was licensed by the Crown in 1890. The original Redditch, Worcestershire based company was sold to Norton-Triumph-Villiers (NVT) in 1968. Production ceased in 1970 and the company was dissolved in 1971.

In 1956 Enfield of India started assembling Bullet motorcycles under license from UK components, and by 1962 were manufacturing complete bikes. Enfield of India bought the rights to use the Royal Enfield name in 1995. Royal Enfield production, based in Chennai, continues and Royal Enfield is now the oldest motorcycle brand in the world still in production with the Bullet model enjoying the longest motorcycle production run of all time.

DAY 1: Arrival Day at Manali (2150 m altitude)

Arrival at Manali by Volvo bus and transfer to Hotel. A traditional welcome followed by introduction with the Tour leader, allotment of rooms, a safety & rescue session by a professional and allocation of Bikes on same day.

DAY 2: Manali / Rohtang Pass / Jispa (140 kms)

The time has arrived to answer the call of the mountains and with Dug Dug Dug...sound of our pipes we are off for the epic road trip. Today will be the 1st day when we will start riding on the famous Manali-Leh highway, every riders dream. Manali to Jispa climbing over Rohtang Pass (3980 m) which on any given day will test your riding skills. We will be crossing Koksar and Tandi (Last petrol pump on Manali-Leh Highway) and enroute crossing several villages of Lahaul valley like Khoksar, Sissu, Gondla and Tandi the confluence of Chandra & Bhaga Rivers. Finally we will unpack at Jispa a beautiful little hamlet in lap of himalayas.

DAY 3: Jispa to Tsokar (226 kms)

Today you ride from the lush green landscape to the stark moonscape which Ladakh is famous for a very scenic passing through small lakes, waterfalls and streams. Undoubtedly the best stretch on the Manali-Leh highway, this section of the Manali-Leh highway will feel as if you're on a roller coaster ride climbing up and down from one Himalayan pass to another. You ride up and down three high altitude passes, Baralacha-la Lachlung -La (16,616 feet), Nakee-La (15,547 feet)

DAY 4. TsoKar to Tsomoriri (145 Kms)

We will move to Tsomoriri Lake. It is a breathtaking journey on a trail that is literally a ‘no mans’ land. The nomadic people, Changpass, is the most outstanding feature of this area. They can be seen moving from one place to another, grazing herds of goats, sheep and yaks. Changpas pass their days with their animals and move with their flocks, their only wealth from pasture to pasture according to changing season.

DAY 5: Tsomoriri to Pangong (270 kms)

After early breakfast we have to start an enegetic ride towards Pangong lake in between we have to cross chushul and merak village (the village is recently open for domestic tourist) Then we have a ride along with a lake.

DAY 6: Pangong to Nubra (hunder) (240 Kms)

Today we will be taking one of the most uncommon route in Ladakh area via Shayok village which has opened recently for the tourist. While riding you will defiantly enjoy the scenery view of mountains and roads. This outstanding route is also known for waterfalls.

DAY 7: Hunder to Turtuk (200 Kms)

After breakfast drive to Turtuk (which is first time opened for the tourist in 2010) which is a place annexed by India only after the 1971 war, the village of Turtuk is one of the only Balti villages in India and lies right next to the LOC. The village with the whole population of muslims still resembles mini Pakistan. The village's inhabitants still use traditional utensils which are crafted from stones. Explore the village of Turtuk the village offers views of beautiful valley, part of Shyok Valley. On clear days you can have glimpse of K2 mountain peak located across the border in Pakistan. Though a muslim village, there are few gompas located on the plateau above Shyok River and there is an old royal house to see in village. Return to Hundar by the evening.

DAY 8: Nubra to Leh Via Khardungla pass (130 Kms) (Titled Highest Motorable pass 18380 ft)

Today, you take the road to the highest motorable pass in the world – Khardung-La - at 18,380 feet. In spite of the altitude, today you ride on some of the smoothest roads so far and the landscape also becomes grand. After celeb Khardung-La pass, you descend into the dramatically different landscape of the Leh City.

DAY 9: Leh sightseeing (60 Kms)

No need to rush today is free to experience the culture of Ladakh by exploring the monasteries, Leh bazaar, talking to locals and eating some local cuisine. Roaming around the city and nearby will help the nomads to get acclimatize with the weather and high altitude. We will take you for a ride on Srinagar-Leh highway where you can seek blessing of Guru Nanak Dev at Gurudwara Pathar Sahib , find the illusion of magnetic hill for yourself, witness the confluence of Indus and Zanskar and moving to Alchi monastery. Return to Leh city to witness sunset from Shanti Stupa and amazing views of Leh city.


Breakfast and check out, by evening you can leave for Manali by tempo traveller, it will reach manali a day after enroute one night dormetry stop at Sarchu between leh and Manali highway.
